The Congrès des Doctorant·es Déconfiné·es, or CD3 will take place on Thursday, 1st July at the Institut de Physique du Globe de Paris (IPGP) Cuvier building. It is a project initiated by PhD students to set up a shorter and more informal version of the usual Congrès des Doctorant·es. It will overcome the fact that the two last editions were cancelled because of the Covid sanitary crisis.
The CD3 is a great opportunity for students to meet, exchange and expose their work in order to bring together the doctoral community again.
This year, the absence of seminars, workshops and international conferences proved their importance for adequate conditions of the development of candidates PhD thesis. These events are the opportunity to highlight our research work and to interact with our community, an essential exercise to stimulate scientific reflection. This is why the Congrès des Doctorant·es Déconfiné·es encourages students to present their work and meet their fellow PhD students.
For this special edition, the CD3 will take place on a full day and will only gather volunteer PhD students posters. Sessions will intentionally be random (without any thematic) to emphasize the thesis diversity of the Doctoral School and to encourage the connection between students of different laboratories.
